ⓘ Field Upgrades are special equipment in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty: Vanguard, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Filling a similar role to Special Issue Equipment in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, they are powerful devices and abilities that can aid the user and their team offensively or defensively. Field Upgrades are acquired by filling up the meter which it will fill on its own and can be accelerated by earning score, similar to Specialist Weapons and Payloads from previous games.Within the Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty: Vanguard, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, & 7 a unique selection of Field Upgrades can be utilized.

ⓘ Also known previously as; the Mask of Bellekar.Ⓘ Phase into the Dark Aether and become temporarily hidden from enemy detection.Ⓘ Like all Field Upgrades in Zombies, Aether Shroud can be imbued with two out of six possible Augments. Players can equip one Major Augment and one Minor Augment at a time.⚠︎ Afterimage: Distract Normal and Special Enemies with a Dark Aether clone of yourself.ⓘ Extra Charge: Increase max charges by one.ⓘ Extension: Aether Shroud duration is significantly increased.

ⓘ Perk-a-Colas (known as Perk Altars in the Chaos Story and Demonic Fountains in Call of Duty: Vanguard) are a gameplay feature in all Treyarch games featuring Zombies modes, and nearly all maps, as well as in Call of Duty Online's Cyborg Rising game mode and Call of Duty: Mobile. Each Perk-A-Cola gives the player a "perk", some kind of ability or boost, to help them survive and fend off the zombie hordes.⚠︎ Augments are a function introduced within the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, with it returning in Black Ops 7. They serve as optional methods to gain additional effects on various upgrades to tweak and give unique benefits to help aim team-play or unique play-styles. Augments are available for Perk-a-Colas, Ammo Mods and Field Upgrades, with the ability to add a Major alongside a Minor augment to the respective item. The Augment menu is unlocked at Level 11 and is split into the Equip and Research screens.
